VAT Rate Change Announced (UK) - January 2010 |

| The chancellor has announced that the standard rate of VAT will return to 17.5%, effective from 1st January 2010, which means that the sale of standard-rated goods or services should be charged at this new rate on or after this date.
The immediate implication of this news is that you will need to make some changes to the tax rates that are set up in your ticketing software.
