News from the International Project team at Tickets.com.

Our PRINCE2 certified Project Managers are responsible for the management of all project-based activities, both internal and external. This team also has specific responsibility for the effective and efficient "on-boarding" of all new clients from pre-sales through to "Business as Usual" operations and support. We are rightly proud of our 3-Star SDI accreditation and it is this team that ensures our commitments to the scheme are religiously adhered to and our published statistics on ProVenue.net are up to date and accurate.

Service Desk Institute

The Service Desk Institute (SDI) has recently carried out a case study on Tickets.com – we are one of the few companies to have certified sevice desks in multiple locations worldwide and to our knowledge continue to be the only ticketing services and solutions business to be certified. Coca-Cola Football League 2 Play-Off Final

At the end of May, Tickets.com provided ticketing services for Dagenham & Redbridge FC’s appearance at Wembley Stadium in the Coca-Cola Football League 2 Play-Off Final. We have provided the club with:
  • a hosted system,
  • call-centre,
  • online sales,
  • e-mail query service,
  • full fulfilment provision,
  • on the day box office staff for COBOs and queries.
During the seven days that the tickets were on sale through our services, 10,000 tickets were sold and delivered. For the delivery of the tickets we used a brand new product that integrates Royal Mail’s Despatch Express software with ProVenueMax™.

NEW: Royal Mail’s Despatch Express integrated with ProVenueMax™

What is Despatch Express?
Despatch Express is a label production tool for Royal Mail’s tracked inland and international services which produces address labels with integrated barcodes, PPIs and return addresses and automatically sends billing information to Royal Mail, streamlining your mailing operation and saving you time.

Ease of use
Print tickets and address labels at the same time.
This solution allows you to print address labels at the same time you print tickets. Just complete the transaction choosing the Despatch Express option and tickets and label will be printed. No more separate franking necessary!

Track
Track individual post items with one click.
When you print the label, tracking details are created in the Despatch Express application and sent to PVM. One click on the track button in PVM in the patron’s account will take you straight to the tracking information of a particular item on the Royal Mail web site.

Selected performances
Available for the performances that you choose.
Make Despatch Express available only for the performances that you want it to be available for.

Single sales or batch printing
Print labels and tickets in singles or batches.
The solution also allows you to batch print your tickets and labels. Tickets and labels are printed in the same order making fulfilment easy and efficient.

Report on printed labels
The Despatch Express Reporting Script
The solution allows you to report on printed labels matched on a performance restriction, and/or a user restriction.

‘We are very pleased with what’s been achieved. Our customer service has improved and we’re able to confirm with customers their tracking number immediately, whereas previously we had to search through Special Delivery books which was time–consuming and not very customer–friendly.’
Graham Smith, Head of Ticketing – Chelsea FC

Welcome to Dundee FC

Dundee FC

Welcome to Dundee Football Club, our newest ProVenueMax™ customer. With the cooperation of the Dundee FC ticketing team, a successful implementation of ProVenueMax™ took place at Dens Park in May, immediately after the conclusion of the Scottish First Division season, in time for them to process their season ticket renewals.

The team at Dundee FC were particularly pleased with the ease of use and reporting power of the system as they processed their season ticket renewals for next season, leaving Dundee FC in a position to offer ticket sales online for the first time with the help of ProVenueOnline™. Dundee FC will shortly be taking their e-marketing to a new level of sophistication with Campaign Creator™.

ProVenueDatabox 1.10 Coming Soon!

We are pleased to announce that ProVenueDatabox™ version 1.10 will be released very soon. This version has two series’ – 1.10.2 and 1.10.3. Those venues who have found themselves under pressure to comply with PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards) should update to 1.10.3 as this version is outside the scope of PA-DSS (Payment Application Data Security Standard) and should help in the undertaking of any PCI-DSS accreditation. Version 1.10.3 does not store credit card numbers, in any form, either in the program itself or in the database.

As a software developer and an e-commerce provider, Tickets.com fully supports initiatives to protect the security and confidentiality of cardholder information and welcomes the guidelines promulgated under PCIDSS.

Version 1.10.2 will also be available for download and works in the same way as the current version 1.9 in storing fully encrypted card numbers.

If you use collection Kiosks, please contact Support before updating.

As usual, the 1.10 update files will be available at www.provenue.net for you to download and run, along with full upgrade instructions and product release notes.
