Tickets.com Road Shows

In these financially hard times and with budgets becoming ever tighter, rather than asking all of our customers to come to us for a conference we held five road shows across the UK and Ireland. A great many of you came to see us and we hope you found it as useful as we did.

For those of you who attended and those who missed out, we have added links to the presentations below. We will also shortly be posting all the feedback from our open forums at the road shows where questions such as ´When will ProVenue be ready for us?´ were asked.

Tickets.com at the ETT

Following our successful tour across the UK and Ireland the Tickets.com road show team joined up with our Dutch and German colleagues for Europe Talks Tickets in Amsterdam. This year’s ETT turned out to be our busiest yet and also had the most number of delegates at one stand in one go! Rather than bringing a bottle the delegates had to bring their own furniture and by the end of this particular session there was standing room only! The majority stayed on as the stand then dimmed it’s lights for the evening and was converted into a miniature wine bar with classical music, fine wine and hors d’ouvres.

It was a great opportunity to catch up with some of our existing customers from Europe and we were also visited by a wide variety of organisations from small art centres to country wide ticket agents. The feedback from everyone who visited our stand was more than positive, with one ticket agent stating ProVenue was ‘world class’ and ‘the most state of the art software on the exhibition floor’. ProVenueMobile and the ability to buy and send tickets on mobile phones was also a key topic at the stand along with our recent successes with Tickets@Home & Tickets@Phone deployments.

We are already looking forward to and planning for ETT 2011 in Berlin – we sincerely hope that you can make it!

Fjola Stenning - New Member Support Team

Prior to joining Tickets.com, Fjola was looking after the marketing for touring shows at theatrical marketing agency Target Live. Previously she had been at Wycombe Swan since it opened in 1992; starting in the box office, moving on to looking after groups, schools and the friend scheme and then managing the Marketing Department. Before that Fjola had worked front of house in various theatres in the West End for Stoll Moss Theatres.

Still living in High Wycombe with her partner, two teenage sons and two middle aged dogs, Fjola is very pleased to have joined the support team at tickets.com. Having previously been a PASS user, Fjola was delighted to discover all the wonderful marketing features available in Databox and looks forward to being able to help Databox users get the most out of the product.
